2017 in review, 2018 plan

2017

What I did:

  • Stop working at Framgia after ~3.5 years. A sudden decision but it was all good.
  • Start working for PillarCare.
  • Doing pretty well on freelancing. Got a few great & long term clients.
  • Visit Singapore and Malaysia
  • Bought the first Macbook
  • Maintain my English speaking skill
  • And have a Nintendo Switch on the last day of the year :)

What I didn't:

  • Read a lot of books
  • Obtain an AWS certificate

2018

The plan:

  • Create a company
  • Obtain an AWS certificate and PMP certificate
  • Learn Japanese (seriously this is on the list for several years straight and I've learnt nothing!!!)
  • Grow my blog with lots of cool stuffs
  • Buy a DSLR camera (this one looks good)
  • Travel a lot
    • Visit about 5 countries: Japan, China, Taiwan, Camboadia, Thailand & Philippine are on top of the list
    • Vietnam: Đà Nẵng, Nam Du, Đà Lạt
  • Read a lot of books
  • Work out frequently
  • Release some Ruby gems
